IBC Mixer Supplier for Industrial Processing Applications

An IBC mixer consists of a motor, gearbox, shaft and impeller. These are either mounted onto a bridge which fits over your IBC container, or is available as a screw-in to the bung hole of the IBC. After connecting up to power, the shaft and impellers rotate which creates agitation of the liquids and successfully mixes them into solution.

IBC agitators can be used for any applications – basically anything that is being stored in an IBC container and needs mixing! Some common applications include liquid fertiliser blending, mixing of honey and other thick spreads, beverages, creams, wasterwater and product suspension.

Mixquip Series 210 are mounted into your IBC container by screwing into the bung hole of your vessel. Series 200 mixer are bridge-mounted with forklift sleeves. These are lifted by a forklift and can be lowered onto the tank. Heavy-duty mounting clamps are then tightened after the IBC is lowered onto the tank to secure it to the bridge. 

IBC mixers can be used to mix viscosities of up to 15,000cPs. Depending on your viscosity that you’re mixing does affect the model selection so you have the right mixer to match the product you are mixing. The Series 210 agitator suits low viscosity fluids of up to 500cPs, anything higher than that will be a Series 200. On the models above, it states which mixers are suited for what viscosity rating.
