High Shear Emulsifier vs. High Shear Powder Liquid Mixer

Mixquip Series 600 Inline High Shear Mixers create homogeneous products by pumping and shearing solids in suspension in an inline configuration. This inline mixer is commonly used to recirculate product to & from a process vessel. These vessels are usually fitted with a standard top entry or side entry agitator, to keep, granules or dissimilar liquids that may be added to the top vessel, in suspension.

Using a Mixquip Series 620 Inline High Shear Mixers, powders or granules are added directly into the liquid being recirculated to and from the process vessel. As the high shear action of the Series 620 mixing head, instantly shears the solids into the liquid to create a homogeneous solution, a separate tank agitator is not usually needed. As the powder addition rate can be controlled, the Series 620 can be used to produce finished products, inline on route to a filling machine.

This configuration of high-shear mixing is often utilized for large volumes and bigger batch sizes.
